Operating Engineers Local 406 State of Louisiana Apprenticeship Program
Anyone interested in joining the IUOE Local 406 Apprenticeship Program should complete the attached application online. We take applications all year long for our June and December Application Days. If you have any questions, please call the training site at (985) 542-4322.
Basic Application Qualifications:
- Submit the below application
- Present for Application Day June 12, 2024
- Must be 18 years of age
- VAILD Louisiana Driver’s License
- Show proof of Birth Certificate
- Show proof of Social Security Card
- Have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Be able to show a negative Drug Screening
- This must be from a medical provider
- Can NOT be control custody forms from employer
- Must be 10 days within Application Day
- Must show negative results

- Location: 50713 Hwy 445, Loranger, La 70446
- You MUST bring all required documentation. If you do not have all documentation you will have to reapply for the next Application Day.
- Louisiana Driver’s License
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Negative Drug Screening
Note: TWIC or Safety council are not required, but highly encouraged.
