NOTICE: ALL ACTIVE MEMBER OF IUOE LOCAL 406

Brothers and Sisters,

I would like to take a moment to advise all of the membership that the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 406 has an upcoming election for the seat of Business Manager/President . The candidates for the upcoming election are as follows: D. Jason Billings, Lyndon Breeden, and Robert Delatte.

The ballots were mailed on August 5th , 2017.

When you receive your ballot please pay attention to the instructions in detail while completing your ballot and double check it before mailing. In the event that you should damage, lose, or feel that you have not received your ballot please contact the Election Committee Chairman, Brother Ossie Norton at 337-582-6259 or 337-660-7147 .

I am asking that you please be prompt on making any notifications to the Election Committee Chairman, if need be, to allow sufficient time for another ballot to be mailed to you and also assure that you have time to get it back so your vote will count.

The Operating Engineers Local Union Local 406, which was chartered in 1910 represents over 2,500 members in the States of Louisiana and Mississippi.

Local 406 represents a wide variety of working men and women in such fields as Heavy Equipment Operators, Crane Rental, Heavy & Highway Construction, Pipeline Construction, Stationary Engineers, Casino Workers, Public Works, Ship Building, Offshore Fabrication, and Stevedoring. Local 406’s mission is to serve its members and represent them so they may have a voice in their work place and receive a fair wage for the skill work that they provide.
